I had a member ask me in a chat if I felt the MAIS would finish the baseball season. I am not sure. I work at a member school from Louisiana. We have made the decision to finish our classes online. The parish schools have just said everyone is passing and are done. I know all of our sports are postponed through April 9. We are on strict regulations as far as leaving our premises. We have not practiced since the Thursday before all of this craziness. If they do go forward it will be without most of the Louisiana schools. I hope they are able to get to some sort of normal.
My son is a senior so I hope we get a chance to finish the season.
I hope he does to. Our Headmaster has done an excellent job. He said that the seniors are going to get to walk and graduate. He cannot promise it will be on the planned day, but that it would happen. I read an article about a player at Penn State. He was seven points shy of being their all time leading scorer now his year is over. Stories like this just break my heart.
Yes sir, he's having a very good year leading the team in hitting and just hope all the schools get to finish
I think if there is any way possible for the MAIS to salvage some of the season they will. I have a lot of confidence in DR. Blanton.
Good news from the MAIS. We may still play.
Yes I just saw the tweet from the MAIS. Not sure what the Louisiana schools may do. We are under different mandates than Mississippi. It is good news that there is still hope.
